' Hello. May you check your gmail ?
Hi Realism, i've been thinking of joining a regiment for a good while, but i don't know if the one i'm interested in is good for beginners and non-toxic. Do you think ''twinkleS'' is a good idea? What do you think of them?

Hello, Pearl Anon! Thank you so much for the question!
Every regiment has their pros and cons and ultimately, there is no one perfect regiment. As far as TwinkleS goes, I'd say they are a very wonderful speciesscout. They have a very sociable community with a lot of unique features in the way that they function. From what I've seen, they are very welcoming and I've never had a bad experience with them. However, they do not entirely function the way that most other regiments/regiscouts/scout groups do. They have their own sorts of activities and systems that are centered around the theme of their group, so there are some things about them that are very TwinkleS specific.
I definitely think they're worth enlisting into, but if you're looking for a more stereotypical and basic regiment experience, I wouldn't personally recommend TwinkleS right off the bat. Ultimately it depends what you're looking for in a regiment but TwinkleS personally has my heart and I think it could have yours too
hiii!!! im trying to start my own scout but i have a BIIG problem.. due to some personal reasons i am unable to have discord in any form
do you know of any good alternatives or other ways to run a scout off of discord??? if u dont or if you think its too difficult please be honest

Sorry for the late response but thank you for the question! Since the beginning of the community, every single regiment in the English community has been founded on discord. It is the backbone of regiment communication and has a lot of features that are necessary for modern day regiments to run smoothly. Everyone in the community has it and has gotten used to functioning through it. As unfortunate as it is to say, I do not believe that there alternatives you could use that would put you on par with modern scouts. That's not to say that it isn't worth a shot! There are a lot of platforms that are like Discord and if it's something you're passionate about, you should try your best. But as a whole, I do not believe that your scout would be able to reach its full potential unless it was hosted on Discord
Hello i REALLY love your blacklist guide
keep up the goodwork ^_+
Thank you SO SO much!! I really appreciate that you read my guide and that you enjoyed it
Hi miss Realism! What do you think about Angelbite Records?
I'm curious about what you think about them!
I apologize for the LITERAL month long delay! A lot has been happening in my life but I'm trying to catch up now. Truth be told, I don't know too much about Angelbite Records! They seem to be a very solid group as I still see members popping up at docks regarding them. I love their aesthetic and the layout of their server. I think their vibe is good and I've never heard a bad word about them. I sincerely apologize that I don't know them well enough to say more but overall I think they seem to be a nice group!
Hi! I just wanted to say that I think your GH is really neat! I used to frequent the regiment community but a lot of things kind of pushed me away from them and I haven't found the time to try and involve myself in them again. It's good to see that they live on, even if there are points in the year where they feel quite scarce to come across. I've had a lot of hurt from the community but a lot of good memories come from them too. Do you have any good memories on any regiment you used to be a part of that you'd like to share? I'd love to hear from your own perspective.
Hello! I apologize for the REALLY late response! I've had a ton of stuff happening in my lifetime.
I'm glad you enjoy my github. I'm glad that you're able to still enjoy regiments, even if it's just from afar. The regiment community has its ups and downs, and for some people there are more downs than ups. Regiments are all very unique and special communities within their own groups that create different experiences for their members. There's a reason that regiments continue to pop up and although there are dry periods in the community, I believe there will always be regiments in ponytown.
I've been in a lot of regiments since I first started out and I've made a lot of memories of my own. I wouldn't be able to give you just one! However, there always was one regiment that stuck out to me more than any other, although it has long since been gone. That regiment will always be the regiment my heart lies with, as it's where I made most of my memories. I was fourteen when I first joined it and that community played a part in shaping my teenagerhood. I wouldn't be who I am without it. I still remember everything from my first patrol, to my first promotion, to my ascension to staff, to my first patrol, and everything in between. I still remember the connections I made, the events and activities we did, and the culture of the community as it shifted and grew. That regiment is a part of me and it will always be a part of me. And to some extent, my love and nostalgia and bittersweet appreciation for the place that helped raised me when I needed it most is one of the biggest driving forces that has lead to me wanting to spread education and assistance to the modern day community.
Thank you so much for the question and the kind words. I appreciate being able to talk about such a sentimental and heartfelt topic that is near and dear to my heart
hihi! i was wondering if you remember what happened to mce? ive been thinking about them a bit recently and i dont have the best memory of it all since i was dealing with some stuff at the time
Hello! Sorry for the late response. I think this is one of the only regiment abbreviations I don't automatically recognize! As far as I know, they're probably disbanded. If you leave me another ask with the full name of the regiment and other information you remember about it, I can try to research around for you
Goodmorning miss Realism! hope the bedbugs didn't bite .pf
Good morning little friend! I had a nice sleep and I hope you did too
hey there! i'm deeply experienced in regiments and i've heard that "uniform stealers" are currently at an active rate these days. i must ask, what's your opinion on these uniform stealers? i've heard differing opinions from one regiment connoiseur to another and i'd like to know yours.
Hello! Thank you so much for the question! I've actually touched on this topic in a reply further down and largely, I think my answer has remained much of the same. Ultimately, it still depends on the intent. To restate what I said in my previous post A uniform is integral to a regiment. It’s how you differentiate your members from everyone else. It’s representative of the community it comes from. This is why regiments are so careful about how and when you wear a uniform, since when you wear it, it’s reflecting the group as a whole. A lot of effort goes into creating them and figuring out what design best embodies the spirit of their group. It's their branding, in essence. So when that uniform is stolen, posted on social media, flaunted around at docks like a trophy, and worn by people that group doesn't know, of course that regiment is going to take it seriously and freak out. To have someone potentially act out in that uniform would damage that regiment’s reputation. They have no idea what that person is going to do with it or who they're going to give it to. For all they know, that person could say the most heinous things in the public eye and make their regiment look bad. I do not advocate for uniform stealing and I will avoid and shun those who purposefully put regiment staff in stressful situations. I think it’s cruel and I think it’s selfish. There is no good justification for putting people in a position where they have to fear for the reputation of their group and watching something that they put time and effort into being mocked and mistreated and turned into a joke. It might seem like it isn't that a big deal but when you are purposefully putting other people under distress for fun without any care or consideration to how they feel about it, that is bullying. That is elementary school level bullying and it's just pathetic behavior. A lack of empathy and consideration for other people isn't a flex and I wouldn't want to be around people who That being said, I do think that there's a difference when it comes to archival purposes or if it's being done in private. Every regiment comes to an end eventually, and a lot of people save the uniforms for nostalgia or to document that regiment's history in a respectful way. I think when it's done that way, it can even be beneficial and a way to connect with other people in the community who recognize or are curious about a group's past. although I feel as though at the very least there should be some etiquette to it, and certainly not used while the group is operational. And quite frankly, I think it should be counted as its own thing entirely And while I don't approve of it in the slightest, if you are stealing uniforms but keeping them in private, out of the public eye, and not distributing them anywhere, it isn't something I would raise hell about So in conclusion, while I don’t support uniform stealing at all, as long done in a way that doesn’t disturb or harm anyone or any groups, it doesn’t bother me.
Hay do you know about dss?? i keep hearing about them but no groups im in are allied with or have any invites of their server
i wanna join they seem so cool
Hello!!! Sorry for the late response. I absolutely know about DSS
DSS stands for Deep Sea Seals. They're a regiscout that has a seal and arctic theme. They're beginner friendly and they cater. They have just over 100 members and opened sometime in late march of this year.
They're a decently active group and are a very prominent example of regiscout. Their server is very decorated and organized and they offer quite a few things to do in their group. They're a friendly group who gives a lot of space for their members to show off their creativity and individuality. They seem to be very mindful and considerate of other people, making sure their members have an excess of information about their group, their guidelines, and various other resources before they even attend their first event.
DSS is a nice little group from what I've seen and I definitely recommend checking them out for yourself. I don't see them at docks very often but they have 23 allies so if you look around the community, I'm sure it won't be long until you make your way over to them
hi !! i really love your guide !! it helped me a lot :3
have a free rose even though the emoji is about love
Hello!!!! Thank you SO much for the sweet words! I'm glad my guide was able to help you out! I appreciate the rose, especially coming from a regiment owner. I love SDP and I hope to get to know it better going forward!
hi question
whta happens in promotion ceremony? theres one happening in a regi im in and idk what happens in them
Hello! I can absolutely shed some light on this! So, a promotion ceremony is a large regiment event that happens periodically in order to celebrate those who are getting a rank up. It celebrates effort, community, and self-improvement, alongside various other values. They look a little different in every regiment but I can tell you a basic rundown of how it usually looks. So most regiments have you make a special uniform, usually called a ceremonial, that you attend the promotion ceremony in. Then, everyone marches to party island, which usually has a special map made for it. Usually, everyone is sat down in sections according to their rank. PTS is on for the duration of the ceremony. Whoever is hosting the promotion ceremony will be the main speaker for the event, alongside a few other staff members who will announce certain groups of rank ups. Usually, promotions are announced in order of the lowest ranks to the highest ranks. Staff members and senior enlisted members are sometimes given the opportunity to give a speech when they reach an important milestone rank. It can get a little emotional and sentimental, as it means a lot to everyone involved. Everybody is rightfully recognized and celebrated when their rank ups are announced, even those who aren't in attendance. At these events, big announcements are sometimes made by the highest ranking COs and some regiments have an afterparty, which involves playing all sorts of games. Promotion ceremonies are a big deal in regiment spaces, and while promotions are always announced inside regiment servers, there is no feeling that compares to celebrating the progress of yourself and your wingmates. I definitely reccomend attending the next one! I hope this helps you a little bit
How does one start a regiment? I have quite a few experience as a staff and high ranking member in OTHER groups, my last group had to be disbanded due to inactivity and me developing burnout tryna act as all ranks at once to compensate. But now im struggling to start one again. I wonder if i should do a waitlist first and gather staff to help me setup it or if i shoud setup then start staff apps. Theres so many what if and not many support groups for those wanting to start i constantly find myself lost. Do you perhaps have advice?
Sorry for the late response! (3/11 Chapters Done)
I've actually decided to make a large and comprehensive guide on this alone. I have more than enough advice to give and I feel that I owe it to the community to make.
I will delete and replace this response with an update on the number of chapters I've finished so you can gauge where I am on its creation and so that you can get an idea of when to anticipate its competition. Check back often if you'd like to know where I am with my writing
I will delete and replace this reply with the guide when I've finished it! I hope it'll help you and anyone in those support groups who see it
Feel free to leave any questions about it and I'd be happy to answer!
helloooo, i've seen this spi group at docks a few times but I don't know anything about them do you have any info?
Hello!! Sorry for the late response. I actually do!
SPI (Spartoi Academy) is a regiment that has been around for a long time. They're based around the anime Soul Eater but they have their own custom lore. Knowledge of Soul Eater isn't required since a lot of their lore breaks from canon. They're not a massive regiment and they aren't insanely popular either but they have a very dedicated and devoted member base. They're always looking for new members to bring fresh ideas into the regiment. They have a decent mix of older and newer regiment values and are heavily roleplay based
From personal experience, I think they're a lovely group and it's always nice seeing them pop up. I definitely recommend asking them more about their group the next time you see them at docks! Thank you for the question
hello! what does regiment stand for and what IS a regiment?
i am confused on what they are i see people talking about them but i dont know what they are LOL
Hello!
While I have written a basic guidebook about regiments (which you can check out on my Gthub as well), I have come to regard some of it as a little bit outdated so I'll give you my updated answer here.
A regiment is any structured organization on Ponytown that hosts organized events in which their members engage in coordinated behaviors and learn various types of skills. There are various types of labels that regiments use to describe themselves and every single one is unique in its own way.
The word "regiment" itself doesn't stand for anything. However, it does have two meanings. Regiment is a umbrella term often used to describe any group that fits the definition in the prior paragraph. However, it is also used to describe a specific type of group that is founded from military culture
I hope this helps a little bit! Thank you for the inquiry
